About Us
FineOaks Alpacas dates back to 2021 when we acquired our first trio of females. These lovely ladies were pregnant, carrying the lineage of exceptional quality males. Overcoming the hurdles of Covid-related lockdowns and restrictions, we embarked on a long journey to a renowned breeder in Northern Ireland to bring them home. It was an instant love affair as we were captivated by the charm, charisma, and extraordinary nature of these creatures.
Embracing our new alpaca family, we devoted ourselves to ensuring their well-being during their pregnancies. Our primary goal was to guarantee the successful delivery of strong and healthy cria (baby alpacas) by providing them with all the necessary care and resources.
In mid-May, the birthing process commenced, and we were blessed with three adorable cria. Despite a few minor challenges, all births were successful. Among the offspring, we were fortunate to have two robust males and a delightful female, igniting the future prospects of our business. These two young males would become our “interaction” animals, characterized by their calm and friendly temperament, they displayed remarkable potential to bring joy and happiness to others, making them ideal candidates for a diverse range of services.
Their roles encompass various initiatives focused on therapy, well-being, and education. Whether it’s providing on-site therapy at our farm, engaging in educational visits to or from schools, fostering animal-human interactions in residential care homes, or contributing to corporate and private events such as staff well-being programs, family days, and weddings.
These wonderful animals possess the power to uplift and bring joy to the community in numerous ways. We are open to exploring any opportunity that benefits people’s lives. If you have an event or venue where these beautiful creatures can make a difference, please get in touch with us. We welcome discussions about your specific requirements, as our potential extends far beyond what is showcased on our website or social media platforms.
